About the Business
Our founder Chris Groome began his career in flooring 20 years ago, In that time he worked for some of the Britain's most respected carpet companies including John Lewis and Capitol Carpets of Chelsea, You may have seen his work on the BBC'S DIY SOS Cirencester episode. Chris is truly passionate about what he does. He knows everything there is to know about the products we offer, the suppliers we use and the fitters who can 'make or break' an installation.
And it's this knowledge, along with his commitment to customer relations that sets us apart from our competitors. In 2009, Chris fulfilled a long-held ambition to launch a high quality carpet and flooring company, offering exceptional fitting standards at a fair price. It was a gap in the market he'd noticed and was keen to fill. The company he launched was called Cotswold Carpets and it began life in a small shop in Dursley.
